How the Aluminate Approach Ensures Natural Results
When you think about ‘fillers’ what springs to mind? Perhaps, like a lot of people, you think of the big lips, huge cheeks and square jawlines, a lot of which comes from the less-than-flattering pictures of celebrities we see on TV, in the press or on social media (not to mention some of the 'strange' looking faces we also see on our high streets). But, if we think for a moment, what is it that makes these celebrity stories newsworthy?…
…Of course, in part, it’s because ‘botched’ celebrity looks grab our attention and, ultimately, sells newspapers. But it’s also because these ‘poor’ examples of cosmetic work are the exception, not the norm. Believe it or not there are hundreds, or more like thousands, of people in the public eye and in our local communities who’ve had aesthetic treatments that we’re not talking about. Why? Because they’re the people that we think of as ageing well, looking good for their age, or the ones we assume were just blessed with great genes!
So what’s the difference between a ‘filler fail’ and the natural-looking results offered at Aluminate? other than they don’t attract the wrong kind of attention. Well, those people who look overdone have generally tried to significantly alter their natural look and/or been to an unskilled injector.
Whereas those with natural looking results have chosen an experienced practitioner who is not only skilled in facial assessment but, has an extensive understanding of the facial ageing process as well as the differences between female and male facial proportions and ratios. These are important and should form part of an experienced practitioners assessment so they can establish exactly see where will improve the patients concerns and enhance their features, skilfully tackle signs of ageing whilst working with their natural beauty. And that’s exactly the ethos at Aluminate Clinic. When you understand facial anatomy, the ageing process and facial assessment, then what follows is an approach that focuses on replacing and restoring lost volume and definition which deteriorate as we get older, which makes for naturally refreshed and rejuvenated results rather than false, over done or overfilled looks.

We don’t need to look far for a great example of this treatment approach. Aluminate’s own Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber, Amanda is the definition of practising what she preaches. Her ‘little and often’ approach of regular aesthetic ’tweakments’ means that people are often surprised at her real age and how different her before and after looks (see below) and for all the right reasons. Everyone wants to know her secret!
Amanda’s personal experience of treatments means she really understands her patients’ issues and feelings. Her first foray into the world of cosmetic medicine was prompted by starting to feel that the person in the mirror wasn’t a reflection of the person she felt on the inside. She knows many of her patients feel the same way.
So often, patients come to clinic complaining of their face ’sagging’ or looking ‘tired’ or ’sad’. Amanda completely understands those concerns because she’s been there too, she also knows that just the right amount of product with precise placement will make a world of difference not just to their face but to their self-confidence as well.
Of course, it’s not only Amanda’s personal experience that underpins her aesthetic work. She’s also a Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber with a 10 year back ground as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the NHS. As a self confessed perfectionist she has undertaken extensive additional training and continued professional development in order to ensure she can deliver the highest standard of care, treatment and results to every patient. Amanda is also a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and the Aesthetic Complications Experts group (ACE) and has voluntarily submitted to rigorous assessments to achieve Save Face and Safety in Beauty accreditations which are independent registers. Save faces register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, NHS England, the Government and the Care Quality Commission and aims to raise standards and improve patient safety in what is a vastly unregulated industry.
As you’d expect at a nurse-led clinic, anyone seeking treatment at Aluminate will begin their journey with a thorough face to face consultation with Amanda, which includes reviewing your medical history, a discussion regarding your main concerns, a full facial assessment to establish the underlying cause of your concerns as well as any potential suitable treatment options and their risks/benefits/limitations. You can expect honest, professional advise. We have an extensive number of patients testimonials and reviews confirming this. Most importantly, consultations are completely free and without any obligation or pressure to book treatments you dont want or need. In fact, the hallmark of a responsible, reputable aesthetic practitioner is that they’ll tell what you treatments you don’t need as well as what you’d most benefit from.
So, if you’re looking to start 2023 with a refreshed look - and a new outlook on yourself and a boost to your self confidence then you can book your consultation at Aluminate safe in the knowledge that you’re in the safe hands of someone who really cares and who understands.
